Senior Commercial Finance Analyst

position in the Roust Group involving the EU and the US markets.

 

Main responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for commercial business units,
• Analyze revenue, costs, and profitability trends to provide actionable insights to the management team,
• Develop and present business performance analysis, highlighting key drivers of financial results and identifying areas for improvement,
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, offering commercial insights to support decision-making,
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align financial strategies with business objectives,
• Provide financial guidance and support in key commercial initiatives, such as product launches or pricing strategies,
• Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts for the commercial function,
• Provide detailed variance analysis and drive corrective actions, when necessary,
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure budget alignment with strategic goals and financial targets,
• Monitor and analyze product and customer profitability to support commercial decision-making,
• Provide margin analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities,
• Work on pricing strategies and assist in the development of business cases for new initiatives or investments,
• Provide financial modeling and analysis for strategic projects, investments, and new business opportunities,
• Support project teams with financial insights to assess risks and return on investment,
• Help prioritize investment opportunities based on financial metrics and business needs.

You will fit into our team if you have:

• Higher-level commercial or economic qualification,
• At least 4 years of working experience in the field of commercial finance, controlling, reporting, financial analysis
• Experience preferable from international business area
• Professional level of English and Hungarian in written and verbal,
• Advanced computer and reporting skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to details are essential
